Hello Eagle City Winery Friends,

After a prolonged spring season the buds on our grape vines are beginning to show life again and we're excited for another busy, fun-filled summer season at the winery.  We're reenergizing our efforts to better connect with our friends and fans through our monthly e-newsletter and on Facebook.  Please read on and "like" us on Facebook and tell your friends about us.

IN THE NEWS-- Eagle City wines earn distinction at the 2013 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.  We're are especially proud of our Black Currant wine for winning a Double Gold medal; Raspberry wine, a Silver medal; and Cranberry wine won a Bronze Medal.





QUALITY WINES - Eagle City Winery is proud to participate in the Iowa Quality Wine Consortium (IQWC).  To be awarded IQWC status, wines submitted will need to pass both laboratory chemical analysis and sensory evaluation to be recommended by the Wine Institute Director and approved by the Iowa Quality Wine Consortium (IQWC) board.


OPEN HOUSE - Our annual Spring Open House is scheduled for June 8-9 (1pm to 5pm). Free wine tasting, snacks, live music, tractor trolley rides in upper Eagle City Park and donkey cart rides behind EC with the winery mascot. Bring your friends for a great afternoon of great wine and fun entertainment.
